Nestled in the heart of the East Texas Lakes Region, Sabor a Pasión offers the perfect, relaxing setting for your escape from the city.

Upon entering the grounds, you will be absorbed into the country. Our wooded drive climbs to the hilltop where spacious rooms with plush, queen-sized beds and en suite baths await you. The rooms also have their own dining table for private dining, sofa, and CD player to help set the mood for your well-deserved retreat. Watch for deer in the back pasture, listen to the many birds in the trees, or meander through the woods for a bit of exercise before dinner. Although, our rooms do not have televisions or phones to disturb your rest, our lounge offers these amenities for your convenience.

Upon arrival, enjoy a select taste treat from our kitchen, prepared especially for you. Inspired by the light and flavorful fare of the Pacific Rim, Chef Simon Webster incorporates multiple international tastes in his menus. Chef Simon trained in the top restaurants in Auckland, including Number Five and Antoine's, and was named as one of the top 10 chefs in New Zealand before opening his own restaurant in Whaley Bridge, England.

Breakfast promises to fully awaken your pasión for taste – choose from our daily Bistro menu, or let us know what you've been savoring. Either way, you'll be tempted to stay a while longer. And you are very welcome to stay!

Set on 25 acres, our Country House and Bistro has just enough space for you to enjoy the natural setting that beautiful East Texas has to offer. When you're ready, take a short drive to several wonderful antique shops, fishing and skiing lakes, golfing, tennis, and seasonal festivals in Anderson, Smith and surrounding counties.

If you're already close by - no need to travel far away for a special night on the town. Dine with us and drive home after a restful night (or two or three) in the country. Plush, queen-sized bedrooms with en-suite baths await you at the Country House. Celebrate a birthday or anniversary with us and enjoy your evening without having to rush home.

Stella is happy. She skips amidst the sunflowers at dawn and whistles like a petite bird with red wings. Her favorite drink is lemonade with a twist of mint; her favorite snack, butter croissants with orange marmalade. She makes us smile, reminding us every day that life is meant to be lived.

Danielle is content. She is generous and giving and makes the world a better place during every waking moment. Her footsteps carry yours as you walk through your day letting you know that everything will be just fine. We laugh together as we drink pure still water with no ice and a lemon wedge, and indulge in chocolate so rich that it takes us twice as long to finish it. No matter -- we have plenty of time to savor it. Plenty of time.
