In-home Catering

For intimate dinner parties, Chef Simon conducts a personal consultation with you on your desired menu and setting, then shops for the freshest ingredients to prepare the meal in your home. Experience the aromas of international fine dining in your own kitchen! Depending on your needs, he will prepare the meal, the setting, and provide service to you and your guests for a remarkable and memorable evening of flavor, frendship, and family. Culinary Instruction

Bored with the same meal every night?
Interested in learning taste secrets from a chef in the privacy of your own home?
Or, just want to use some of those expensive kitchen appliances you installed during your recent kitchen remodel with the confidence that your meal will be unforgettable -- in a good way?

Chef Simon offers an entertaining way to answer all these questions with his in-home cooking classes for parties of up to 6 students. He will create a 3-course teaching menu complete with recipes for you and your five closest "foody" friends to be taught in the privacy of your own kitchen. He'll do the shopping and bring kitchen essentials for all the students to ensure you have the most enjoyable and educational cooking experience possible! These cooking parties generally last two hours and require at least one week advance notice unless special circumstances apply. Additional courses or expanded lessons are also available.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

Retreat to a tranquil country setting, far away from the hurried pace of the week. Let us help you relax. Stay with us in one of our welcoming guest rooms. Breakfast will be fantastic! Cooked to order by our own Chef Simon. Enjoy his casual style and bold sense of humor. All rooms are double occupancy. Children 10 and older are welcome. Small, well-behaved pets are ok. Non-refundable pet deposit required.

We are less than 5 miles outside of the Palestine Loop, not far from Downtown and Old Town, on the NW corner of the intersection of Concord Rd (ACR 404) and ACR 406.

From the South/Palestine Loop 256:

Take Link Street (ACR 403) North to Concord Rd (ACR 404). Turn Right. Travel 2.9 miles to ACR 406 - Turn Left, then right onto property.

From the North/Tyler area:

Take Rte 155 South to FM 321. Turn right. Travel 5 miles to Concord Rd (ACR 404). Turn left. Travel 2.1 miles to ACR 406. Turn right, then right onto property.

From the North/Dallas area:

Take I-45 South to Corsicana. Watch for signs to Palestine at 287 East. Take 287 East to Route 19. Turn right onto Route 19. Travel to the Palestine Loop 256 and turn left, traveling Northeast approx. 2 miles to stop light at Link St (ACR 403). Take Link Street (ACR 403) North to Concord Rd (ACR 404). Turn Right. Travel 2.9 miles to ACR 406 - Turn Left, then right onto property.

Visit the Texas Railroad State Park and Davey Dogwood Park and experience the many community festivals in the area. It's a great place to be any time of year!

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Please join us for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with your party of 10 or more by reservation. Our menu is light and delicious - worth the trip outside the city limits. Bring a special beverage and we will prepare a meal that meets its flavor and personality. We welcome you to dine with us and look forward to your visit.

Gourmet Consultancy

Chef Simon consults on all aspects of food preparation and party planning. If you are looking for adding a special taste or hint of passion to your next menu or event, call him to help. He can spare you the time and frustration it might take to design a dish around a particular cuisine or favorite food, or to plan a special occasion menu. He can also help organize larger events to be hosted outside your home.
