Relax & learn in our Chefs Kitchen designed specifically for cooking classes & demonstrations. Perfect for small groups and personal instruction. 

 

Classes are created to fit your culinary needs & make cooking fun & approachable. Taught by Christine Gardner & Simon Webster, you will love the informative, fun and delicious menus. 

 

From sauces to knife skills, and the authentic flavors of international cuisines, Simon & Christine love to share their knowledge of cooking & enthusiasm for great flavor!

 

Any of our advertised classes can also be repeated as private classes. See details below for private group pricing and requirements. 

Christine & Simon also have extensive experience doing cooking demonstrations for large groups, on television and other special events. To schedule either for a public appearance, please contact Christine at 903-922-9209 or Simon at 903-729-9500.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW: 

  • Classes are typically on a Thursday evening.

  • Advance payment required for all participants. 

  • For private classes, organizer of group is financially responsible for all guests. 

  • Private classes can be planned for a Friday or Saturday night, but require B&B rental and minimum 12 people attending. Smaller groups will be required to pay an additional Chef's fee.

  • Prices includes recipe packet, interactive chef instruction & generous samples.

  • Class menu may include a cocktail sample. If you would like additional beverages you are welcome to bring your own. 

  • Sabor a Pasion is not licensed to sell alcohol.

  • Advance Reservation & Payment Required.

Italian Pizza Making Class:

Learn to make wood-fired Neapolitan pizza just like in Italy! Everyone will have the chance to make their own dough and pizza in Sabor a Pasion's new wood-fired oven. Also, enjoy a delicious Italian salad and one of our favorite cake recipes from the island of Capri. Plus, how to make Christine's limoncello!

 

This class is hands-on. You will also receive a jar of sauce and ball of pizza dough to take home. Plus recipes for everything. $55 per person. Advance payment and registration required. No refund on cancellations. A cocktail will be provided, but for additional beverages, please bring your own wine. Also, bring an apron.

Italian Cooking:

Learn some of our favorite recipes from our travels to Italy. Many recipes and menu are available to choose.

Pasta Making:

(Hands on) Learn to make pasta dough and popular shapes like gnocchi, fettucini, pappardelle, garganelli and ravioli. 

Chopped Competition:

(Hands on) Fun for a group. Each team is presented with a mystery basket of ingredients. They must create and cook that course of the meal to serve to the judges and group! Chef Simon & Christine judge the results and prizes are awarded.

Themed Dinner Party:

4 course menus featuring favorite cuisines - Paella Party, Italian, Mexican, French, Asian, Holiday Planning and more. 

Topic of your Choice:

What would you like to learn? Just ask us. We are both experienced in all types of cooking techniques and cuisines.

Private Class Details

Our classes are a popular choice for birthdays, girls night out, club meetings and private gatherings for friends. We are happy to plan the class around the topic/menu of your choice Give us a call for ideas.

Prices

  • 10 to 12 people: Menu prices start at $55 per person.

  • 2 to 9 people: $55 per person, plus a $150 Chef fee.

  • Additional cost for Friday or Saturday classes. Also requires B&B reservations.

  • Host is financially responsible for all guests and must provide a credit card when making reservation. (Multiple cards accepted.) Due to advance planning, menu preparation and food ordering, guests who cancel will still be charged.
